On September 15, 2025, the official website of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) announced that the marketing authorization application for the self-developed Sabin-strain Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine (Vero cell) (sIPV) by Beijing Minhai Biological Co., Ltd. had been approved (National Drug Approval No. S20250051).
This landmark achievement marks a crucial leap forward for China in the independent innovation and industrialization of poliovirus vaccines.
